Totally agree with above. My hubs are but a few weeks old and a few summer showers have now littered the shiny surfaces with corrosion. The aluminum caps seem to be gravity cast and are presumably porous. The price was great but this was not the place to save money on this product.

bought these hubs for an 02 chevy tracker that did not previously have locking hubs(equipted with automatic 4wd system)I wanted "free wheeling" front wheels when 4wd was not required(better gas mileage and less vibration). Was not list to work for this vehicle/application but it fits and works perfectly

easy install, perfect match on my 96 Geo, turns in and out of 4x4 as advertised and easily , stays locked no worries... scale of 1 to 5 to install, rate it a 2 - with most of the problems removing the old rusted hubs. shot a picture here on amazon for you to see .. bonus, brushed aluminun finish!
