Great scanner for general use. Loud audio and ability to show alpha tags for frequencies. Easy to set up for trunking and can seek out close RF sources. Great for seeking out nearby radios and users.

Ford radio removal tool is included and this will fit standard DIN car radio openings. Looks cool in the dash of a car, but will not replace an AM/FM receiver. (Better for double DIN openings.)

Antenna included picks up a lot of stations/users, sensitive receiver.

The bad:
Gray faceplate scratches, mars and fades easily. The Display is small compared to older RS scanners or current Bearcat models. Black buttons fade if used for a short time to a white color.

Older RS scanners may be easier to use but usually lack trunking capability. If you need trunking this is where this shines. Locks on quickly and lets you hear most of the conversations.
